What moves it
- Chinese construction and grid spending, still the largest single demand block.
- Electrification demand — grid, EV and data-centre buildout — which is the structural story.

The Canadian angle
Copper is the growth commodity of the Canadian mining sector, and a large share of the world's development-stage copper projects are held by TSX and TSXV issuers. Copper strength usually widens the financing window for those juniors.
