This fund is designed to generate both consistent income and long-term capital appreciation through an actively managed, conservative asset allocation strategy. Its global portfolio maintains a balanced composition, typically allocating approximately 40% to equities, 59% to fixed income instruments, and a modest 1% to cryptocurrencies. A multi-layered investment approach is employed, with a minimum of 10% of the fund's assets invested in other Fidelity funds. Furthermore, within these underlying Fidelity funds, more than 10% of their respective assets are themselves allocated to additional underlying funds. The portfolio managers are tasked with strategically selecting these diverse underlying funds based on their specific asset classes and investment styles. The portfolio undergoes an annual rebalancing process to maintain its target allocations. Fund managers possess complete discretion to make all investment decisions, including buying, selling, or holding assets, as they deem appropriate at any given time.
