As a critical base metal, copper is integral to the production of renewable energy systems and electric vehicles. The Global X Copper Producers Index ETF (COPP) aims to closely track, net of expenses, an index composed of North American-listed companies primarily involved in copper ore mining. Specifically, COPP currently seeks to replicate the performance of the Solactive North American Listed Copper Producers Index, after accounting for fees. Additionally, the fund consistently hedges all U.S. dollar portfolio exposure back to the Canadian dollar.
