This ETF offers investors a way to gain exposure to the performance of the 100 largest non-financial companies, by market capitalization, listed on the NASDAQ stock exchange (currently represented by the NASDAQ-100 Index). Its core purpose is to deliver a consistent monthly income stream alongside opportunities for growth. To achieve this, and also to help mitigate potential losses, QQCC implements a dynamic covered call option writing program, a technique historically associated with higher yields during volatile market conditions. It's important to recognize that employing covered calls can restrict the potential for significant upside appreciation of the underlying holdings. After fees and to the fullest extent possible, QQCC aims to provide both investment exposure to the NASDAQ-100 Index and monthly distributions in U.S. dollars, generated from dividends and the sale of call options. Notably, the ETF does not currency hedge its U.S. dollar assets back to the Canadian dollar.
