This ETF primarily invests in Ether, offering a convenient and cost-effective alternative to direct cryptocurrency ownership. When new units are purchased, the fund acquires Ether at a fair market price from institutional liquidity providers. The Ether holdings are securely stored offline in cold storage, and the fund may also hold cash to cover operational obligations. Adopting a conservative strategy, it avoids using derivatives for leveraged exposure or short-term speculation. To ensure precise daily valuation and prevent pricing anomalies, the Net Asset Value (NAV) is calculated using the TradeBlock ETX Index every day at 4:00 PM Toronto time. These ETF units are intended to be eligible for registered investment accounts. Investors should be aware of potential conflicts of interest, such as fund charges being satisfied before any investor returns are realized. The fund is permitted to borrow money, within specified restrictions, to facilitate Ether acquisition.
