About Purpose Total Return Bond Fund

The fund seeks to achieve a positive total return by strategically allocating its investments across various fixed income segments, including government, investment-grade corporate, and high-yield debt. While its primary focus is on North American fixed income securities, it possesses the flexibility to invest in global markets. The portfolio may also incorporate other collective investment schemes or employ derivatives such as options, futures, forward contracts, swaps, and credit derivatives. These derivatives can serve both hedging purposes, to protect capital from market exposure or price fluctuations, and non-hedging purposes, such as generating income or acting as an alternative to direct investment. A substantial portion of the fund's foreign currency exposure will be hedged back to the Canadian dollar. Additionally, the fund may participate in securities lending transactions to boost income. Portfolio holdings are rebalanced monthly, although the investment advisor retains the discretion to adjust this frequency.
