F3 Uranium Corp. (TSXV: FUU) has defined a high-grade uranium resource in Saskatchewan and drilled a summer program around a newer discovery. Its new chief executive, Ross McElroy, presents that work in Toronto on October 29. The company announced the date on October 20, 2026.
It will be his first conference as chief executive since he returned to the company in September. The venue is Red Cloud's Fall Mining Showcase, held October 28 and 29 at the Omni King Edward Hotel. He speaks at 9:40 a.m. Eastern, on the conference's second day.
The man who sold Fission comes home
McElroy's return is the main change at F3 this autumn. The company named him a strategic advisor on August 19, 2026. It appointed him chief executive and a director on September 24.
His background is why the appointment matters. The September release says McElroy co-founded both F3 and Fission Uranium with Dev Randhawa. He ran Fission through its C$1.14 billion acquisition by Paladin Energy in December 2024. Fission's Triple R deposit sits in the same western corner of the Athabasca Basin as F3's ground.
Randhawa stepped down as chief executive and chairman on September 24 and became executive chairman. Raymond Ashley, a professional geologist, took the title of president and vice-president exploration on September 3. He replaced Sam Hartmann, who resigned with effect from September 1. Those titles come from the company's two September releases.
"Ross and I have been partners in uranium exploration for decades," Randhawa said in the September release.
What F3 owns, in one deposit and one discovery
F3 is an explorer, which means it looks for uranium and does not yet mine any. Its main asset is the Patterson Lake North project in Saskatchewan's Athabasca Basin. F3's own description places it on the basin's western side, near Paladin's Triple R project and NexGen's Arrow project.
The JR Zone is the anchor: an indicated resource of 11.8 million pounds of uranium oxide at 4.39 per cent. An indicated resource is a tonnage and grade estimated with enough drilling to support mine planning, though not yet a reserve. The estimate carries an effective date of October 15, 2025.
SLR International, an independent consulting firm, prepared it. F3 filed the technical report in January 2026.
Most of the pounds sit in a high-grade domain. Inside the resource, a high-grade domain holds 10.8 million pounds at 12.23 per cent. That domain is 39,997 tonnes of rock.
The second asset is younger. The Tetra Zone lies about 13 kilometres south of JR, on the Broach property. F3's June release called it "the first in the Clearwater Domain", an area long overlooked.
On March 31, 2026 the company reported 3.0 metres grading 1.19 per cent from hole PLN25-219A. That interval was assayed at SRC Geoanalytical Laboratories in Saskatoon, an accredited laboratory.
Each of F3's assets sits at a different stage of proof. The table sets them side by side.
| Asset | What F3 has reported | Stage of proof | Date |
|---|---|---|---|
| JR Zone | 11.8 million pounds at 4.39 per cent, all indicated | Mineral resource estimate | Effective October 15, 2025 |
| Tetra Zone | 3.0 metres of 1.19 per cent in hole PLN25-219A | Assayed drill intercept | March 31, 2026 |
| Summer holes PLN26-228 and PLN26-229 | Strong alteration, radioactivity up to 480 counts per second | Field observation | August 25, 2026 |
A resource estimate is the furthest step on that ladder. An assayed intercept proves grade in one hole. A field observation shows the right kind of rock.
The summer program found altered rock near Tetra
Uranium in the Athabasca tends to sit where faults cross a buried erosion surface. Geologists call that surface the unconformity. Fluids moving along the faults bleach and clay-alter the rock around a deposit. Strong alteration is the trail explorers follow before they hit grade.
F3 started summer drilling in July. The July 21 release said the program would initially run about 4,000 metres. F3 said in June that the program is designed to advance new target areas on its Patterson Lake North, Minto and Broach properties in parallel with continued work on the JR and Tetra zones. It followed a 3D resistivity survey over the Tetra structure, a method that maps ground that conducts electricity differently.
On August 25 the company reported its first two summer holes. Hole PLN26-228 tested the A4 target on the Minto property. It returned strong alteration in the lower sandstone and the basement below it. It also cut graphitic shears, the fault zones that often carry uranium in this basin.
A handheld radiation counter read above 300 counts per second over two half-metre intervals, peaking at 480.
Hole PLN26-229 tested Broach Target Area 1, a 950-metre step-out from Tetra. It found strong bleaching at the top of the basement. The release compared that alteration to the rock near the Tetra Zone.
"Both holes intersected strong alteration and prospective structure," F3 said in the August release.
Radioactivity counts and alteration are field observations. Grade comes only from laboratory assays of the core. As of October 20, F3 had released no assays from either summer hole. Its releases have not given an assay date.
The drill money is ring-fenced
F3 raised C$5,549,000 on April 17, 2026 in a bought-deal placement led by Red Cloud Securities.
It sold 27,745,000 flow-through shares at C$0.20 each.
A flow-through share passes the company's exploration tax deduction to the buyer. The money must therefore be spent on qualifying exploration in Canada. F3 must spend these funds on its Athabasca projects by December 31, 2027. Summer drilling at Patterson Lake North is the kind of work the money is meant for.
The company carries one large creditor. Denison Mines holds a C$15,000,000 convertible debenture, closed on October 18, 2023, paying 9 per cent a year, quarterly. It matures on October 18, 2028, and Denison may convert at C$0.56 a share.
F3 may, at its sole discretion, pay up to one-third of each interest payment in shares. On October 2, 2026, F3 announced a payment of C$225,000 in cash and 797,872 shares; the shares were issued on October 8.
Those shares were priced at C$0.141, the 20-day average as at September 28.
The latest filed balance sheet is at March 31, 2026, in unaudited interim statements filed on May 27, 2026. At March 31, 2026, F3 held cash, cash equivalents and term deposits of C$21,407,095 against total liabilities of C$20,689,406.
Of those liabilities at March 31, 2026, C$12,206,483 was the Denison debenture at carrying value and C$8,758,000 a deferred income tax liability.
Working capital at March 31, 2026 was C$18,576,518, and the company said it believes it has sufficient resources to continue operations for the next twelve months. The April flow-through money arrived after that date. Its audited annual statements are due by October 28.
Where the shares traded on October 20
F3 finished the session at C$0.115 on October 20, down 4.17 per cent, on 391,242 shares on the TSX Venture Exchange, per end-of-day data read at 14:00 Pacific on October 20, 2026.
The 52-week range is C$0.10 to C$0.275.
For the commodity itself, Cameco's month-end figures put the uranium spot price at US$89.63 a pound at the end of September 2026, as cited in an October 12, 2026 newswire.
At the close the company was valued at about C$76.2 million, on 662,625,097 listed shares. That figure covers the JR resource, the Tetra discovery and the cash, set against the Denison debt.
Two dates in the last week of October
The calendar now has two fixed points close together. The first is McElroy's presentation on October 29. The second is F3's annual filing.
F3's fiscal year ends on June 30. A venture-listed company must file audited annual statements within 120 days. For F3 that deadline falls on October 28, 2026.
Those statements will give the first audited cash and debt figures since June 2025. They will also show what the summer program cost.
The share count matters too. Each Denison payment in stock adds shares; the October payment added 797,872. The conversion price of C$0.56 sits well above the recent trading range.
McElroy built one Athabasca company and sold it for C$1.14 billion. Laboratory assays from the summer holes will follow when F3 reports them. F3 holds an indicated resource and a younger discovery, and McElroy presents both in Toronto on October 29. Its audited annual statements are due a day earlier, on October 28.
