About Accelerate Arbitrage Fund
The Accelerate Arbitrage Fund (ARB) aims to deliver significant long-term capital growth and better risk-adjusted returns than the S&P Merger Arbitrage Index. It employs an arbitrage investment strategy, primarily by taking long positions in publicly traded equities, debt, or derivatives of companies that are targets in mergers or corporate actions. Concurrently, it shorts listed equities, debt, or derivative securities of the acquiring companies where suitable. The total notional amount of derivatives used for purposes other than hedging will not surpass limits mandated by securities laws. ARB has secured special authorization to short sell securities up to a combined market value of 100% of its Net Asset Value (NAV). Therefore, the aggregate market value of all securities sold short by ARB will not exceed 100% of its NAV. Furthermore, the fund's overall exposure, covering cash borrowing, short selling, and specified derivatives, is capped at 300% of its NAV.
