About Global X Equal Weight Canadian Bank Covered Call ETF

This ETF offers equal-weight exposure to Canada's core dividend-paying Big Six banks. It aims to generate additional income through covered call writing, a strategy historically known to produce higher yields during periods of market volatility. (It's important to note that covered call writing can limit the upside potential of the underlying securities.) BKCC is designed to provide a consistent monthly income combined with an opportunity for growth. Its primary objective is to deliver, net of expenses and to the greatest extent possible: (a) performance tracking an equally-weighted index of diversified Canadian bank equities (currently the Solactive Equal Weight Canada Banks Index); and (b) monthly distributions sourced from dividends and call option income. To achieve income generation and mitigate downside risk, the fund utilizes a dynamic covered call option writing program.
