This fund offers diversified access to both high-yield and investment-grade fixed-income securities. These debt instruments, whether issued by companies or governments, can have any maturity and originate from anywhere globally, mirroring the investment strategy of the Renaissance Flexible Yield Fund. The portfolio manager proactively allocates capital, pursuing a total return strategy by selecting higher-yielding debt. This selection is based on a top-down and relative value framework, guiding decisions on country, currency, and sector exposures, alongside dynamic management of interest rate positions. To minimize currency risk, the fund hedges its foreign currency holdings back to the Canadian dollar. As an actively managed exchange-traded fund, the managers retain the flexibility to temporarily diverge from its core investment objectives if deemed appropriate.
