Distribution occurs via Tesla's online platform, physical stores, galleries, and a network of channel partners. This segment also delivers maintenance and repair services for its energy products, including under warranty, and offers diverse financing options for solar customers. Founded in 2003, the company was initially known as Tesla Motors, Inc. before officially rebranding to Tesla, Inc. in February 2017. Its corporate headquarters are located in Austin, Texas.
