The Evolve Canadian Utilities Enhanced Yield Index Fund (Evolve Fund) is established with the goal of providing magnified returns, specifically targeting up to 1.25 times the performance of the Solactive Canada Utility Index (or any subsequent benchmark), prior to accounting for fees and expenses. A core part of its mission is also to safeguard against significant market declines. To achieve these objectives, the fund predominantly allocates its capital to the equity securities that comprise the aforementioned index. Additionally, the Fund's Manager possesses the discretion to employ a covered call option writing strategy. This strategy serves multiple purposes: to boost income, reduce overall risk exposure, and dampen market fluctuations.
